Off the heels of a wildly successful debut podcast, Stickman Brews is proud to release the second edition of the new podcast “Bad Beer and High Prices”.

On the show, Jim and Ethan Buckman are joined by Kate Sorrento for a discussion all about the history of lagers, the India Pale Lager craze, and what it really means to put corn syrup in a beer.

During the episode, the crew break down the different variations of brewing lagers, including the complexity of the styles, pro tips for homebrewers making lagers, and other nonsense.

Also on the podcast, we discuss a variety of other topics:

  • What does it mean for a beer to be malty?

  • Is brewing with corn syrup really so bad?

  • The highs and lows of lager making from local breweries

Bad Beer and High Prices will return in May for an extended look at stouts

Until the next podcast just remember, “It’s a Stickman. Just drink it.”
